Hy ppl, from what i now, the s700i only suports cards up to 128 mb,
i was wondering if it would be possible to put cards up to 1Giga like he ones from the k750i into the S700i, with the help of the adaptors for cards from wich k750i come with , not sure if they fitt dough
has anyone tried?
mayby it works with cards that are smaal in format like the ones from k750i but only till 128 mega...

The S700i only supports Memory Stick Duo, which is limited to 128MB.
The K750i supports both Memory Stick Duo and PRO Duo, which at the moment goes up to at least 1GB, and is capable of more.
Both forms of Duo are the same size and shape, with the same connector, but devices like the S700i the only support Duo will not work with PRO Duo.

I heard of somebody modifying his P900i software so that it recognised a MSD Pro card though. I also thought I heard some rumours of people modding their S700i's software to fit these but I'm not entirely sure about that...

Yeah, the P900 mod works by using customiosed P910i firmware, gbrooks3 can do it. most devices only need a firmware update to allow access to PRO, but that depends on the manufacturer actually writing it. I suppose people looked at the P910i firmware and saw how to make the P900 work too. If the would only try and work it out for the S700i! I bet the hardware can handle it.

theres sum1 from another forum that his s700a accepts MSD Pro card.. The MSDP card is from his friend who has a w800 fon.. :rant:

It would be good as that was a let down for the S700 for me.
The P900 wasn't modified but re-flashed with P910 firmware into what I call the P905

Hmm, most interesting. I wonder if anyone else can confirm this? Surely if it worked we would have known about it a long time ago...
