Simple W300i Mods modify files without debrand

I would like to remove some of my w300i Cingular files, (sounds, ringtones, themes, videos) but they are “protected”. Can I use Far Manager to delete without having to do the whole flash/debranding routine? I have no desire to fully debrand my phone, I just want to throw out some trash.

yes. using FAR for that purpose only is possible. why didn't you first try and then ask here?

Have read enough to be dangerous only. Lack of experience prompted me to ask first and shoot later.

launched far and got as far as Frajo's problem described in topic "FAR+SEFP+FakeMain-Do-Not-Work-in-my-w810 Club", (fs download froze).

as described i did not launch xs++ and load breakin. i went straight to far to view file structure.

i believe:
seus drivers loaded ok, (seus and file transfer software operational),
xs++ loaded ok, (launched xs++ and recognized w300i), and
loaded far+10044+10051+4_alpha+10051 patch ok.

far froze at same place as Frajo. His topic had many responses but i could not find a conclusive cause and/or solution to problem.

tried: battery in-out. ng
did not do breakin load with xs++
se file transfer launched however and the phone turned on.

must i load breakin and/or must i disable se file transfer/phone activation to get past far road block?
