Greetings.

I have a problem with my SE K600i phone. It's currently detectable by SETool2, FAR and Sonics. However, SETool fails to do customize, FAR fails while entering FLASH or FS directory, and Sonics... just works, rather well.

It is of CID29, formerly, before my messing, it's was Brown and of rather old firmware. After unlocking and reflashing with R2J005 (CID36), phone started to hang up after about a minute of using. I found later that disabling UMTS will handle this problem, but just after flashing this was unknown to me. So I flashed again with same effect occuring, so flashed again. In desperation I took R2BA01 (CID49) and packed it into poor phone. Of course it didn't help. I used few recoveries via SETool (failure, of course) and Sonics (set up a RED CID36) and flashed again with R2J005. Phone was still dead and I noticed it did not even boot up. I tried to write new gdfs (found somewhere in some russian forum) with SETool (complete failure) and Sonics (seems went ok). No reaction, no idea how to revive it.

I have no further ideas what to do, I hate to ask for help but I couldn't find any relevant information about similar problem anywhere.

Forgot to mention: at the moment, SETool is able to flash the phone, but returns an error when comes to customize (fool me, didn't write it down anywhere and my windows is dead).

Never use R2J firmware as it's quite buggy. R2T or R2BA I suggest. Don't use recover phone in SEtool. Use Sonics to recover and set CID, e.g. CID36 red. Then you can flash and customize your K600. Generally if the phone doesn't boot, flash EROM as main using SETool2. It seems that flashing MAIN and FS damages EROM zone.

So, I need to obtain EROM from K600, and flash it as MAIN using SETool main, then R2T or R2BA. Okay, as soon as I get to Windows, I'll do it and report then.

One more thing - even before all this, I wasn't able to browse filesystem via FAR. Flash worked, but not FS. Strange.

Well, I reflashed EROM, however phone still does not boot (while being on charger). Battery is extremely low and all-night charging left for 2/3 of flashing process. I'll try to use friend's K750 battery.

Just forgot to mention. If you use setool2 for flashing, before customising, do a repair in sonics (to CID36). That's because setool2 leaves the phone after flashing with CID49 and therefore customising will give you an error.
