So where the hell is the K850 announcement? Cebit Day 1 past already, plus W660 was announced a day before Cebit. And why announce it separately if they are planning on introducing new phones at the show? could Sofia be delayed? (Not starting a rumor, just asking.)
BTW, if you look at the most recent candybar SE phones (K200-550-810 and W610-660-880), this Sofia design doesn't really fit. (Still hoping, you know
)

K850 was never planeed to be announced now. Should be towards end of April I think so unfortunately we'll all have to wait a while longer.
About these new pics, I don't think it's too bad! Get rid of the d-pad thing and put in a smaller joystick (or even make it touch screen!), change the call and end buttons to activity and browser ones a la K800 and I think it would be even better.

I think that K850 will be pretty much different than how it looks on these pictures,because this is just a prototype that had been pictured 22.12.2006.,and surely it has been modified a lot since than,so...!

As what McLaren-Mercedes says , I think these pics are testing pics to know the people comments , no way it would be the K850

I don't think that will be the K850i, as I mentioned earlier it looks like a UIQ 3 handset to me and I'd be surprised if the next mainstream camera phone is Symbian based. The average user doesn't need a smartphone

I have it on very good authority that Sofia will not be announced as soon as we thought, i.e. not in April, but the date isn't set in stone so it could change. Note that this information only applies to Sofia.

It will be interesting to see how much the design changes from this proto in the images to release, which of course it will if it is even release

I think it will be some differences (e.g. keypad,lens cover...) but shape (design) of the phone will remain the same!

Got some error messages.
I think the phone even if it worked would be kinda useless, early prototypes seem to be that way.
Have tried another old prototype and not many things on that phone worked and it was buggy and dog slow.
Really hope they change the plastic the phone is made of, it's hard and feels low budget, regular m600 feels nicer imho.
Fun thing to check out the changes from diffrent prototype versions to the real deal. Many small changes that make a lot to the phone as a unit, atleast for the p990i witch i have compared different prototype versions
May take some time till it gets released, a friend got a p990i fp1 proto about a year before they was released
