Hi, I am new to this. I have a SE W800i and XS++

Got this info from XS++

13:00:58| ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
13:00:58| PHONE INFO
13:00:58| ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
13:00:58| DBID: db2010
13:00:58| OTP CID: 36
13:00:58| EROM CID: 36
13:00:58| EROM color: Red
13:00:58| Phone: W800
13:00:58| Operator: EUROPE_4
13:00:58| Firmware: R1BC002
13:00:58| EROM: n/a

Now i have some questions:

1. Is XS++ all i need to customize and flash my phone?
2. Can i get these themes on my w800? ( http://www.youtube.c...h?v=qRtzrVT5Xbo )
3. Is it possible to flash my w800 with w810 firmware?

1: No, you also need: Firmware (Main and FS) and CDA. These are found here: http://forums.se-nse...?showtopic=7699.
2: No, not possible to get flashthemes on W800. This is becouse of both hardware and software limits.
3: No, hardware differ. Diffrent LCD, no light-sensor in W800 and some other small changes.

1. PhoneXS++ can just upload things and flash ur phone. But FAR can break into it and u can see wht things are inside ur phone.
2. u can make a custom menu just like it. but it is very hard. http://rapidshare.co...ish_IR.rar.html
3. Impossible. if u want a w810 then sell this and buy it
D750i, Firmware flashed to W800 R1AA008, 1GB MSPD, Orbit custom menu, Eternal theme, 8.53 Camera Drive, changed display drive(but don't know the version), Vista start-up sound and shut-down sound.

of course........u can create custom menus, apply cool patches like the 'menu lock' patch and loads of other stuff.........
w800 is far from boring..........both the k750i and the w800i can be easily customized now :)

have fun........

I agree with kurt_karun, for CID36 phones use GFlash!

For customizations, use XS++ or FAR.

thanks for the reply... GFLASH... has a finalisation. Do I need to do that? cos there is none in the drop menu that is for APAC

Anyone has guide on how to flash using GFLASH? flashing to a new f/w. basically upgrading from R1AA to R1BC for APAC. I have dl the Main and FS files. GFLASH dun have customisation for APAC.

When I do the upgrade to R1BC can I revert back to R1AA??
