It locks some functions like Main menu, Messages, Contacts & File manager. To access them, you must enter the lock code
You can toggle password protection On/Off using the side button (Volume - ) P.S now this button has a useful function, I think
You can customize the patch. I mean you can lock one function or more. To disable any function, comment its line (with " ; " ) in the original patch

I attached both the original patch & my modified one. I deleted some descriptions & comments from the original patch that caused GFlash to hang several times.

You should know more info about patches, any line starting with " ; " is by-passed (inactive line)
So, you need to (comment) or delete lines concerning the main menu & the patch will be like this:

yes, I had two joystick shortcuts (right--> file manager) (down--> contacts). Password protection to joystick shortcuts is unstable (sometimes works, sometimes not)
but If you access them through the main menu, password is a must. S, contacts are protected
So, delete the joystick shortcut of (contacts). Then it's accessible through main menu only

I don't know what's wrong with your phone. I've just tries 3 different games (with sound) & volume control works in both modes (password on/off) try reinstalling the games
There's one mistake in this patch. when you zoom out a picture (Volume - button) while in full screen mode, it activates/deactivates password protection every time. No problem in camera zooming itself. So, It's a minor problem that I think they can solve it in next versions of this patch

about filemanager, DON'T feel secure. Anyone can access your photos through the camera. Audio/Video files can be accessed through Walkman without password prompt of course.
I'll remove this patch btw . I was just testing it for fun

it's 0000 by default. you can set a new one through (settings--> Locks--> phone lock)

Can you add more lock to function like:

Walkman, Radio, Settings, Camera, Aplication, Games, and Calls.

I have a suggestion:

make the 'Manage calls --> Accept calls --> Only from list' function to be a lock manager?

example: we create a contact name "FileManager" and when we add it to the list the function will lock.

mine is "W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA" . I think this patch is not for APAC though they don't mention this in their site. try to remove it from your phone
