I had just edited "/smsdata" to "/tpa" in this direction..
fs\ifs\settings\messaging
after i done this i pressed f2 to save the setting..then when i on my phone again,there's nothing change with my sms storage limit!!>.<

can anyone teach me how to apply the following staff that i get from another link?is it required to the step i remove my sms storage limit?=(

I'm facing a such big problem with my sms storage..everytime my sms will stuck there if the limit reached 200x sms!have to save into computer with myphoneexplorer everytime it full!aih..cannot play sms with my gf over than 200sms if i'm outgoing for few days.....>.<

How about change the "/smsdata" to "/card",just let it save into our memory card?I just read the threats about that..i'm going to try it now..

Hello

When I'm using the Far manager plugin after I flashed my phone with that dummie fw, i have got the following error

Exception address: 0x7709b09E in module:
C:/...am Files/Far/Plugins/SEFP/sefp.dll

The plugin will be unloaded!

and then i got this

Exception address: 0x7709b09E in module:
C:/Programs File/Far/Far.exe

FAR manager will be terminated!

Can someone please tell me how I can fix this ??

hi, im a noob at customizing se phones.. i have a k850i openlined-unlocked and unbranded. im intrigued in installing flash themes on SE phones, however i don't know how. k850i supports flash lite v2.0 and i was wondering where i could DL flash based themes for the k850i.

yup once it's CID49 you need fake main. if it's CID36 you don't need it. of you can just use setool2 lite, which ever you prefer.

i think i flashed the wrong file somewhere, somehow...any help would be appreciated.

if anyone can offer any assistance, please do lol. It's unlocked, still branded (i was wanting to debrand, followed the debrand instructions, got to where i needed a fbn file, went to top sony, got W810_R4ED001_FS_EUROPE_4_RED49, used that, then went to the step with farmanager, tried to load the right bootscript, it said "fatal error while ReadCID!" Error code= 0"..) at this point, i realize farmanager is a nogo...but i couldnt seem to find the mbn? file i needed to flash and i believe i mistakenly flashed the fbn file to the main. so here i sit, with a nice black paperweight.

help?

W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49 < from topsony >but nothing along the lines of
"W810_R4ED001_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49" does it not matter?

the phone now turns on. when i put in my SIM card, however, it says "configuration error please contact your service centre blah blah blah"

I'm thinking i need to reflash the file system as well, maybe? ...or start the whole process from the beginning? anyone anyone?

also, when i first started the process trying to flash the initial break-in loader, it always hangs.

but it just sits there. will stopping it have caused the problem i have now? because that's what i initially did. ...(still continuing on with original process however)

...alrighty...after retrying said process, i have same results. the initial break-in loader always hangs. then when i get to the part with trying to use farmanager to connect to my phone, i continue to get the same error readCID! error=0 code.

so i tried reflashing the main with the "W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn" ...start up the phone, same deal. I'm pretty sure the filesystem is missing, but im not sure what to do...so, anyone?

it never finishes. when it reaches finishing flash, you must click close on XS++. then use FAR to access your FS. why don't you just use XS++ v3.1 i would only recommend FAR if you want to get files from your FS. but if you have a CID49 W810i you can put a patch in your phone that allows you to access your internal FS in file manager.

I have v3.1

i dont know how to use XS++ to put in a custpack. I cant even use FAR to do it, every time i try, i get the "error ReadCID! error=0 " message, so i'm pretty sure FAR isn't an option with this phone. or for that matter what ccustpack to use. point me towards a tut to do use XS++ ?? i saw it earlier, but cant find it again ...I'm still stuck on being able to turn it on but i get the configuration error when i put my SIM in. good news is it definitely seems to be debranded ^.^ lol.

So, uh, what's of this patch i can do, how do i do it, or point me to a tut. I can deal with the phone being bricked, i've got a spare for the time being, i'd just like to have my phone back and working so that i can mod it further once i finally understand how TO do so. I'm getting a white w810i next week and i'd like to know how to do all of this so that i wont have problems when i go tinkering with it.
