Do you swap your handsets around depending on where you are going or what you are doing? Do you have an 'evening phone' you use when going out of an evening? Do you have a handset you use whilst jogging? DFo you consider the idea of 'occassional mobiles' to be stupid?

Yes, I have a P-Series as my 'real' phone, an S700 to look good and take pics and a T610 as a cheap phone that doesn't matter if it gets lost or damaged etc.

I primarily use my V800 these days, but I also use my P900 more these days for organisational purposes. I still like to use my T68i sometimes too, especially if I don't want to carry a lot with me.

At the moment i'm just using my s700i, but i found out today that its far to big to go in a suit jacket or trouser pockets, so i'm think i'll be getting something small and light as a second phone for when i don't want to carry my mobile brick :)

@superluminova

I find that when I am going somewhere, which warrants a suit (or smart dress in general) that it is best to keep the cut of the suit intact. Wallets, mobiles phones, keys, etc tend to ruin the cut of a suit so I try ti do away with a smuch excess baggage as possible. I usually only carry one card and a mobile, perhaps my T68i or my K700.

@super

Unfortunately good tailoring seldom makes allowances for mobile phones, even if they do have those mobile pockets. Unless a suit is made from rather heavy materials then it will end up sagging under the weight of amobile, which will obviously ruin the cut. I am loath to keep my S700 in the inside pocket of my linen suit for example.

This thread sort of hits on the point as to why I'm on the look out for a cheap T610 or similar. I have a P910i for daily use, but it's a bit bulky at times and I'm not really that confident about taking it out with me to the pub etc. If I get a tinsy bit tipsy, I doubt I'd be too happy watching my phone bouncing along the floor as it falls out of my pocket.

I find myself using my V800 for most things because it tends to fit in well with most occassions, but sometimes it is nice to carry a smaller handset around with one. An older ahndset is probably better if one is travelling without immediate access to charging facilities because they tend to have better battery life than more recent handsets e.g the T68i is tremendous in this regard.

Business : Nokia 9300
Everyday : Sony K750i
Fashion-y stuff, restaurants, clubs, etc : Nokia 7610
Anywhere where my phone could be damaged : Nokia 7650 (almost 100% destroyed, only the sliding mechanism left.. camera doesn't even work anymore)

I mostly have my K750i in left pocket and Nokia 9300 in my right one... I need them at all times.
Awaiting the Sony P1010i with 3.2 megapixels, 3G & WiFi, 100MB user storage and MSDP... Make it happen already!

Haha, well the 9300 is for work and K750 has my postpaid line, in case I run out my credit on the 9300 :)
And GPRS is much neater on the 9300 too. :)
I could win any challenge/battle with these two :D
