Hi everyone,

i have a SE w800i phone with this information:

I read all the info on the forums and other places but i cannot figure out a couple of things:

1) If i want to Flash my phone, should i use the SAME settings for customization, or i can for example use EMEA_4?

2) If i want to apply a patch, should i look for R1BC002 EMEA_3 vkp files, or just any patch for R1BC002 will work?

3) How do i make a backup of all settings before i decide to flash? so i will be able to return it to my previous state if something went wrong. I think i need to backup FLASH and FS. Which are the best tools to do a complete backup?


Also i tried adding a new language to my phone with no luck :(i did everything as its described in many forms, but it didnt work.

1)(unsure) you can change it. but it is related to your country if you dont choose it right your sim wont work

2)all will work(r1bc002)

3) use far manager.. search in the forum, there are tutorials

for 3) I tried with SEFP, but what are the addresses to use for a complete backup?

And how to restore it back from that backup file? topsony is down so.. im not sure if there are any tutorials there.
