Thought i would start a thread on the future of phone-xs...

It has come quite a long way in a short amount of time and now with fredrik on the team :p things can only get better... :D

So, i propose here some idea we could implement...
  • 1st Generation SEMC phone support (T65, T610 etc etc)
  • Phone operations (like phone explorer - using AT commands etc)
  • UFS (FTDI) support. Its a wonderful interface ;)
  • Turbo flashing ;) (looking forward this! ****COUGH...hendrix!...COUGH**** )
  • VKP patch support (a must in my opinion)
Thats all i can think of right now, CID49 DB2010 breakin is complete now and DB2020 breakin is a big headache...

best to everyone,
gbrooks3

I think it would be nice if PhoneXS has built-in file-manager to improve FS operations :)

P.S. @gbrooks3 - could you tell us some more info about CID49 DB2010 breaking and when it will be available to PhoneXS users?

Estimated time until your phone runs out of battery :p

Quote

1st Generation SEMC phone support (T65, T610 etc etc)

Great news! :good:
Maybe I'll be able to mess up with my T630... :p
Will I need a service cable, or just the normal cable?
The problem is though, that since my T630 didn't come with a cable, I'll have to buy one, and I don't know if they are sold anymore... :p

Yeah well, I only have a service-cable so that's what i'll do the development for anyway. I have to figure out how to bypass boot authorization though :p

Anyway, can anyone think of a new name for PhoneXS? :p

Why, what is with that name? And btw - when will the new version be available?

P.S. My proposals:

1. "SE Manager"
2. "SEMC Suite"
3. "SENSE Tool"

I have no idea on how the brute forcing works (if the code is diffrent each time or if it stays the same for a specific phone and firmware) but it would be nice to be able to reflash the phone and have Phone XS look in the logs for the IMEI and the code that worked last time.

It would save loads of time, but as i said first: I have no idea if this is even possible...

Sorry, this is not possible. Everything is completely random and cannot be predicted.

@gbrooks3:

it would be great to include a small FAQ & tutorial into the program. It would be a great help for non-advanced users.

btw, does the W810i uses DB2020?

Well, dry helpfile isn't the best. You need FAQ with examples for most frequent operations — menu changing, intalling flash themes, etc.

also. the new ver will get into fs of W810i without bruteforcing, right?
