Yes, stop. Then run it again but check only Flash FS, it will stop at Finishing flash again. Disconnect, run again and customize.

But the phone memory left is only 3 MB.

Ok so I followed the guide (my phone was previously unresponsive and would only turn on to a white screen then go blank). When I was in the process of connection it up to XS++ my phone suddenly turned on for the first time in ages, I also recently charge the battery with the new charger that I had just got because the old one blew a capacitor. So now my phone works but it keeps freezing and the only buttons I can press are the power off one or the shortcut key and I can go to the main menu or anything although I can create a new shortcut :\. Also my USB wire seems to be a bit iffy and when I pluh it in it keeps disconnecting and connection repeatedly even when I am not touching the phone or the wire. I tried to flash it again, pushing hard to hopefully keep it connected (I think the connection might be loose). My k750i is CID36 but the firmware I'm trying to put on is 49, is that a problem? I included the log below

I've just attempted to flash my K750i using the tutorial and a lot of hunting for the necessary files.

I've used the following firmwares:
MAIN: W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA.bin
FS: W800_R1BC002_FS_EU1.bin

I've done the whole sliding thing with the radio and "custom folder to phone" patches (on the main firmware only). I've used the custom files from the following zip: W800i_CDA102430_9_EUROPE_1.zip. These have been placed in a custom directory on my memory card (ie J:\custom\<files>).

All went OK and the phone gets to the "Start phone" or "Listen to music" menu. The Walkman bit works a treat, but the phone bit returns with a configuration error. What have I missed? I'm including the contents of the Phone-XS log, which will follow on below. I've also tried this with the XS++ program but I'm having much the same effect. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance...

"custom folder to phone". So your custom folder is probably not on your memory stick but in phone memory. Create folder Custom in Other (phone memo) and paste files there. If it wont help look for information about your custom patch, there should be written something

After some further reading, it dawned on me that I'd missed a step in the process. So I retraced my steps and did the following:

1) Reslid the MAIN firmware using just the Radio patch.
2) Uploaded the MAIN firmware to the phone using XS++
3) Removed the battery, put it back in and uploaded the FS firmware using the customisation boxes to select the matching options (W800, CDA102430/9 (Europe 1)).
4) Removed the battery again and then put it back in.
5) I copied the custom directory contents into the "files_to_upload\tpa\preset\custom" folder which sits alongside the XS++ EXE file.
6) I edited the customize.xml file to ensure that it matched the FS options. I also replaced the contents of the <operator></operator> tags to match my phone operator. I'm not sure this is essential if you have the right custom pack in the first place.
7) I reconnected the phone using XS++ and selected FSX. I then clicked on the "Start FSX" button.
8) After going through the warnings, I carefully followed the instructions and it all completed as expected.

I took the battery out, replaced my SIM and then put the battery back in. On starting up the phone, it went through the motions with the "Please Wait" message and progress bar. The 2 option menu appeared after a while and I selected the phone option. And as if by magic, the phone sprung into life and is now a W800i...

I'm one happy camper. Thank you all for your help.

I now upgraded with SEU in R1BD001 and the language of telephone they are only English

Using that, you change driver directory so you must create folder drv (probably) in Other on your phone memory and copy there all drivers (acoustic, camera, display). If you dont want to do that just dont use that patch ;p

If you want Greek you must flash and customize your phone with correct pack with your language (EMEA_3)

Thanks for all information on this forum.

I have just flashed my SE k750i cid49 red with only main flash and its running ok.
Now i'd like to customize it coz i got just english language.
Is it possible to customize it with XS++ in case if i dont want to patch the main with the finalization-patch?
1. Do i have to check "Customize file system" in XS++?
2. Do i have to put the customization files in the XS++ "files_to_phone" directory?(Do i have to overwrite the files which are already in this directory with the correct customization files?)

I have just flashed my K750i to W800

I've used GSlide15 Without patch
W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA
W800_R1BC002_FS_EMEA3

Flashing with XS++ MAIN and FS Following her directives of program
select in XS++ your CDA W800i_CDA102425_39_EMEA_3

open W800

The first time it should not it is used (customize patch the phonememory)
because when we import FS all the files they will erase from the memory of phone so that it does not open the telephone (white screen),
and is not recognized nor by the MyPhoneExplorer in order to we place the Customize File

When it opens the phone as W800 we are copied the Customize File that we want in the memory of phone and

import only modified MAIN Flash in XS ++ and Flashing
selecting again CDA in XS ++ and Flashing

if phone not open,

import in XS ++ first MAIN only and Flashing
selecting again CDA in XS ++ and Flashing.
