Sony has already confirmed that they would be focusing on to smart phones in the future. That means it's bad news for the people who are looking forward to normal phones from Sony. Anyway, it seems Sony is keen to release low-end smart phones which will really help them boost their sales. Lately ST21i tapioca showed up in the wild and now we have something more to say.

We have benchmark results of a couple of smart phones; yes, low-end ones. A device code named ST23i has showed up on GL Benchmark. It could be the dual sim varient of ST21i Tapioca and hence gets the name Tapioca DS.

Another interesting device is WT23i and it's got a Walkman label as well. AnTuTu benchmark shows that the phone uses a Qualcomm MSM7227A chipset with 800MHz processor and a 320 x 480 resolution display. We hope the phones will reach the market in the near future.

Nice, I wonder if Sony will make a better battery than, let's say HTC. I love HTC and I have one but the capacity of the battery is really upsetting.
