Rumored to be an entry level smart phone from Sony, ST21i 'tapioca' has a 3.2-inch (320 x 480) display, Qualcomm MSM7227 800MHz processor with Adreno 200 GPU, 512MB RAM, 3MP camera with no LED flash shooting video at VGA resolution (640 x 480) and a 1460mAh battery. What is interesting is that the phone is expected to be launched on Android 4.0. It would be an intelligent move from Sony Mobile since not all the manufactures updates their entry level phones with ICS.

Techblog.gr has proofs that the handset really exists as they have come up with pictures of the phone. As for the design aspect, the phone looks similar to the recently announced Xperia sola but a bit chunkier.  See the pics:

Great! The first Sony Xperia with more rounded corners
The UX is nicer too, with no text labels on launcher and better signal icons. Overall this phone looks very sexy (at least for me)

it looks... cheapish. especially with no LED light, and the screen quality when compared to S. but it's good to see that Sony releases stuff not directed to only 0,0001% of the richest people in the world.

Really? This phone has same chipset found in my old X8. Anyway let's hope this phone will help ICS port for 2010 minis and X8
