Hello friends!

Plz can someone give me the layoutSandby_main.xml file for Cedar which has only Removed year from date(having this change only)

AND ALL OTHER THING REMAIN AS DEFAULT.
Plz Help Me.

remove year from date done through patch, i believe

Hey Boysie after reading the tutorial i am not able to do what i want coz after reading it a'm so confused and afraid of making any problem in my phone

But by editing layoutstandby_main.xml file we can remove Operator  logo Permanently(I have also done it  successfully)

Because you can't. Day/month/year is a string determined by code in main firmware. Only ithe whole string position can be changed by xml, not it's individual elements so removing year can only be achieved by a patch.

There is one way . You should remove date and time entirely from your screen and use flash wallpaper .I think only that can give you permanent date format .
