I just downgraded it to CID 51.It turned on, but i needed 49.I downgraded to CID49 the next day(via omnius), it showed it was CID49, but it wouldn't boot at all.Just flashed red at the app/C button 5 times i think but not turning on.Updated it to CID51 back, it wouldnt turn on aswell.Figured i need to replace the FW, i tried to do so, but in the middle of the way, it gave out an ACK failed(on wotanclient) and flash failed. Now it's not detected via USB aswell.Help?

Where does it save the logs to?

If it doesn't save them, then I can tell you, it downgraded successfully to CID49.But wouldn't boot. The problem was when I flashed it and it stopped in midway and said ACK failed, on wotanclient. And now it's not picked up by the PC at all.

Is battery charged? Reinsert the battery and try connecting to Omnius with 2 and 5 keys.

Edit: late.

Well that phone hasn't been used for a week now, but it worked fine on flashing it before.I'll see to it.

Works now.It was the battery.

Just wanna ask, is there any firmware for CID49 on the W880?

I'm asking because wotan doesn't register any CID49 firmware and i can't flash it that way, can someone give me FW files so I can bring it to 49 and keep it there?the only W880 firmware wotan has is CID51 through 53.If you do post FW files please aswell post a tut(preferably XS one)to flash it ,cause all FW so far that i've been flashing is with Wotan.

Wotan does not work with brown phones. Flash only with JDFlasher.

Read what I said. You can flash any CID to your brown CID49 phone.

Well mine won't boot if I put 49 on it.

Also, omnius free time's finished, so no more flashing for me..

One thing though, how do I apply patches to my phone?I've put the custpack on, but the patches are usually just text. How do I apply it?

This for example:

I'm confused. What CID does your phone have now?

Then you did something wrong in Omnius. Anyway for the patches just copy and paste the code into notepad and save as vkp, making sure encoding is ANSI.
