Can modded drivers shorten life of speakers

Hello i know im a litle off-topic but i want to know, can modded drivers shorten the life of my phone s speakers?

Since drivers can give you higher bass, higher treble and overall higher volume. Listening songs in high volume, can(not necessarily will) shorten your speakers.
They wont crack instantly, so if you listen and you hear that speaker can't take it, just lower volume a bit, and continue with your life. :)

and yes.. that's it. the higher volume at the maximum.. it cracks. and when this happens always.. it may damage the speakers due to maximum loudness  :good:

well, in cedar the ringtone during an incoming call is way louder than what the musicplayer can produce, so i guess its ok to switch the farfield_play file into something that produces higher sound similar to the 'farfield_ring' version??
