What is a good best to locate a phone? I am always misplacing my phone and need a quick way to locate it in my house.

Don't ever activate silent mode, and set ring volume at max, if you having problem to find your phone, then just make a call to your phone using another phone.

You want an app to tell you where it is? This makes no sense :/

Theres load of these apps on android market (assuming that you have an android phone). Or you could just buy a LiveView which has a "find phone" feature and plays the notification ringtone
