I'm not sure but I remember r6680jc once said that R7CA064 and R7CA065 use the same text revision. If that's true, you can use your current language files with your new FW.

So RHI, just flash with whatever region and add your languages after and that's it.

Yes, R7CA061, R7CA064, R7CA065 use the same text revision, even ELM and HAZEL use the same text revision for those FW versions.

Now I am transfering the font & language folder backup from these to my new firmware.
But, I am a bit confused. Have a look at the images.
The left side is my new firmware. And the right side is the old firmware's backup.
I need to have the 'Indian languages. At the same time I also need to delete these languages.
"french
german
dutch
indoneshian
malay
filipino
javanese
vietnamees
sudanese"
So, which file should I edit or replace & delete?

You have the backup of all files inside the font folder from indian fs, right? then the easiest way is to delete all files inside the font folder in your phone, and then upload all files inside font folder from your backup.
For the languages, do the same as the font, and if you have backup of tpa/preset/system/wap/opmenu/ then upload your backup too, in order to have the same languages as the phone languages in netfront browser.

I want to save these languages as well from these firmware:
'thai
chinese (It used to show error in the previous versions)
standard abc'
Is there any way to add them to the Indian version?

For other languages you want to keep, just don't delete them from language folder, but I have no idea wether font files from indian fs will support those languages or not, if not, then you can edit the font.xml to make the phone also use .ccc font file.

I did replaced the whole font & language folder with the backup. And now I have all the Indian languages as I did when I had the Indian firmware. Now, I need to know 3 things:
1. I only need to add 'Russian' & 'Chinese' language read support(not write).
2. There is a difference in the Indian version in the names. The names here start with 'Indic.ltt' instead of 'Universal.ltt'. How to add support for Chinese & Russian (read only).
3. What's this ".ccc" file suppose to do? It have a massive size of almost 3.5Mb's and this is the first time I have seen this in a mobile. Is it a new format supported by the mobile? Would there be any advantage of using this over the previous files/versions.

.ccc isn't a new font format, it a font format contains chinesse glyphs.
<fonts> <fontfamily name="sans-serif"> <font source="/tpa/preset/system/fonts/Indic_Reg.ltt" /> <font style="bold" source="/tpa/preset/system/fonts/Indic_Bold.ltt" /> <font style="italic" source="/tpa/preset/system/fonts/Indic_Ital.ltt" /> <font style="bold;italic" source="/tpa/preset/system/fonts/Indic_BdIt.ltt" /> </fontfamily> <dictionary usage="thai" source="/tpa/preset/system/fonts/thaidict.wtd"/> <dictionary usage="icons" source="/tpa/preset/system/fonts/icons.wsd" /> <dictionary usage="emoticons" source="/tpa/preset/system/fonts/emoticons.wsd" /> </fonts>
This is the default font.xml for the Indian version that I am using right now!
The file-name for ccc font file is this "NewSans18030ZI_12-30even.ccc".
So, where should I add this line in this and what should I write!
I am hoping that after adding this line I would get Chinese language read support.
And after adding the 'RU.LNG' file in languages folder I would get Russian read support as well...

How can I edit the '.ltt' file for that?
Have a look at 1st image for default files that are present in the folder:
http://forums.se-nse...post__p__916634
Or should I just copy the '.ccc' file in the 'Font' folder?

Ofcourse you need to put .ccc fìle to font folder..
Edit: you also need to rename the Indian fonts (OTS, based on the pic) to Universal-Reg.ttf, Universal-Bold.ttf, Universal-BdIt.ttf, and Universal-Ital.ttf
Anyway I'm not too sure this will work, I see Indian FS use 8 type of fonts..

What actually does these ltt file suppose to do. There is a huge difference between the 'Universal.ltt' (14Kb) vs 'Indic.ltt' (117Kb). I doubt that just renaming these files would do the job. I think I might loose Indian language support.
Or is there something I am missed here

Anyway, r6680jc has suggest to edit font.xml. So why don't we try it first before messing with ltt files? XML are simpler to handle IMO.
