If you one among the people who think mega pixels doesn't really matter in the clarity of a photo, here's something to substantiate your theory. We have a couple of sample photos from the Xperia S (12MP camera) and the Xperia arc S (8MP). From what we see through our eyes it's evident that arc S's 8MP beats the S's 12MP. Arc S delivers a better snap in low light and normal light conditions. Just see it yourself. the first picture goes to the arc s in my opinion but the second one is for the S.
because it got more detail.
but i think it isn't as good as the arc s in the first picture because(i think)its on auto settings.
but if you put the settings the same(manual) on both phones i think the s would win hands down(only because i think sony wouldn't be that stupid to put a sensor/lens that isn't as good or better than the previous model ;) )
