Guys, it won't work. in the .62 (all Xperia 2011) the zergRush exploit has been patched.

@lovelyrathimukesh: I guess you have locked bootloader. You can try with RootXperia.zip method with CWM recovery for locked bootloaders.
Read this: http://forum.xda-dev...10&postcount=14
I also updated to .62 fw but didn't tried this method, as I haven't got time.
Hmm, you can also try this(I just found it :)): http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1446308
Although you will need to flash old .42 or .58 version with flash tool.
Not sure how this one is root-ed but I guess same as above with RootXperia.zip

One question not related to root. Do you see any improvements in user interface? After I updated to .62 sometime I get a "hiccups" while moving trough UI. I can't reproduce them, maybe I'm wrong, and maybe I havent seen them in .283fw as I had that one only for 5 days :) .

EDIT: yeah, CWM method won't work since you need root to install it :)

to install CWM you need root :)

there surely is a way to root .62.
there is a file to change.( forgot the name)
and you can always flash stock .42 kernel and root with zergrush while on .62 firmware :)

Did I said there isn't? I just said that there is no way with DooMLoRD's zergRush method without changing to .42 kernel, for which you need to have unlocked bootloader, right?
From the way original poster wrote, I got feeling his BL is still locked.

And if you have unlocked BL, you most likely put CWM, so you can easily flash RootXperia.zip.

root procedure of .62 FW is not n00b friendly, if you still want to flash, use seus or wotanserver, it wont void your warranty

Let me bump this thread, as some people are reporting that there is way to have full .62 and root-ed, although some still have problems with that.
