What kinda mobiles? Feature, basic or smart phs.
In my point of view in the feature phs. SE is very best. Because of modding section. We can design our phs through modding.

Impossible to say which is best. All the manufacturers have their own individual strengths and weaknesses.

SE featurephones are the best than nokia and samsung's featurephone I think.. ;) I love its multitasking..

But for smartphones I will give a rank.. Based on my opinion..
1. Samsung
2. SE (Sony)
3. Nokia (symbian)
not tested Wp7 yet.. :/

According to me:
SE is best in 'Feature Phone' department.
SE should be your choice if 'Music' & 'Camera' are a priority for you. And be ready to pay a premium for having a SE phone specially (Androids).
Though 'Hardware quality' is generally not the best out there.

Select 'Nokia', if hardware quality & ruggedness are a priority for you. Though software that they use weather it's S40(not even worth considering) or 'Symbian S60' both are obsolete. Windows phones that they have released are priced too highly. And what kind of support & adaptability it would have is yet to be seen. At present, I would recommend to avoid 'Nokia' mobiles because they are on a verge of change. And they don't release 'Androids'.

Out of the lot. Samsung seems to be offering the best with respect to 'Value for money'. There android mobile range is so large that you would definitely find one that suits your requirement in your budget. Software & hardware are both good. And these guys are also pretty serious about the software updates at regular intervals for the longest time for there range of mobile phones.

i've got a question : out of all the smartphones out there, wich big manufacturers stand aside from the iphone design?
i can't be really objective,'cause i only have sony ericsson phones but there isn't a "best phone or manufacturer" out there.if we consider reasons like hardware tops, the winner must be a samsung phone,if we consider performance and snobbery(because it's the most expensive) at any level, the winner is a apple phone and if we consider design ,only a few remain original and these are sony ericsson, nokia and htc in any order you want them to be

All these companies (Nokia, Samsung, Sony) offer a huge number of mobile phones.
As such any statement made is only on a general basis. 1 or 2 mobiles(such as Ace) can't represent the whole range of there mobile phones. Specially, considering that every mobile is made keeping in view a specific market & cater to specific people/needs.

Have a look at 'Samsung' android range of mobile phones in under 10k,15k,20k.
No other mobile maker is offering so much range. Sony's are launching mobiles that have no distinction at all. Specially, in respect of specifications & price points(no-sense & ridiculous).
Take for eg- W8 & X8. Active & Neo etc.
They seem to be launching mobiles just for the sake of launching.
And more shocking is the fact. That, the speed with which they are launching these mobiles. They are increasingly becoming reluctant in updating there mobiles & leave them halfway. Eg Xperia X10. X10 Mini/Pro.
Generally, it's also a well known fact that they are extremely late in launching updates. For eg- just have a look at there android updates & you would know what I mean.

xperia mini (specs) > galaxy ace (specs)
price of both = 13K, xperia mini is getting ICS and ace is not
neo specs = galaxy s specs, galaxy s not getting ICS while neo V is and neo V price < galaxy S price
I'm not a typical SE fanboy but their products are value for money and reliable.
and I dont know what you are trying to prove without research

do you really think 600 mhz processor and such low RAM can run GB and ICS?
yes they can, but ask from those who are running gingerbread on x10 mini/pro, it kills multitasking on phones and fills all the ram without any bloatware running

I too am not a 'Samsung' Fanboy!
But, I am very well researched!!! Did you know......
Sony Xperia pure was for Rs +30K & you think they are value for money!!!! You got to be kidding me !

But, I know 1 thing. Once, I have bought a mobile, I won't pay another 15K Rs for software update which would allow me to record 720p Hd video instead of 'VGA' recording. Or, for having a 'Bravia' engine instead of regular LCD Software engine that we got !!! (Xperia X10mini vs Xperia Mini)
