It is Avira Internet Security if I'm to say an opinion. I think it's better than Kaspersky when it comes to resource management. Tried Kaspersky last month and my PC (3GHz Intel Dual Core with 2GB RAM) was crawling (not all the time but occasionally when i open folders with a lot of files, pictures and all; may be the real time scanner).

avast is not good. yes, it's a free version but the detection rate is low and so there ain't a need to say about its removal capabilities. It's a beautiful UI though.

and a little bit more about avira, if you plan to install it on an already infected (badly) computer it won't make a change. If it's an already infected one, try kaspersky first, it has more capabilities to rescue an infected pc.
