I installed this Custom ROM http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1201116 using both Xrecovery and CWM, but after installing the phone gets stuck on the CM logo screen..
What should i do inorder to get the Custom ROM working?
BTW can anyone suggest me another stable ROM for mimmi?
and is it necessary to unlock bootloader to install custom ROM?? Thank you!

it takes really long to fresh boot when you install custom rom, you dont need to unlock bootloader, you only have to unlock ot if you want to install custom kernel, gingerDX is best rom for mimmi as far as i tested

note that if your screen goes black after succesful installation and booting, take your mobile out of the room ( ambient light sensor turns off the screen backlight in dark) and go to settings> display > and turn off automatic backlight

I've installed 3 different ROMS now and with each one of them my phone gets stuck on the CM logo screen... How come?? waited for over 10 minutes now

well, i never had this type of issue, restore your phone and install latest CWM recovery and busybox,maybe that will sove the issue

hmm, you gave right gave right permissions to the files (chmod) ? and there are some modules they give with rom, you installed them?

now only xda members can help you, but you can still start it from beginning if you have time, unroot, re-root, reinstall CWM and all

omg.. i cant believe i made this mistake.. i forgot to do full wipe after installing the ROM..
