As most of you all know, Sony Ericsson is preparing a new device, which will be their first dual core phone.
We already talked about it here. The rumour was it will be called Xperia Duo.
Now few things changed from then.
It will be driven by snapdragon 1.5GHz(MSM8660) dual core processor, with help of 1GB RAM, although as you may notice, images shows only 691MB. It's jet to be seen how many MB of RAM will it have. It also has a 4.3" screen with amazing resolution of 720 by 1280, which gives 320dpi. You will have 32GB of storage for keeping your data, unfortunately without memory card option.
And all that will be powered with 1750mAh battery.
More rumours also suggest that this will be first Sony Ericsson phone to be used with micro-SIM and will have NFC. Of course, the exception being the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arco, which is released only in Japan and is their only model with an NFC chip.
All this specifications are maybe the reason they called it Nozomi, which is also used for fastest train service in Japan.
Here are few pictures of the phone itself:

Also on next picture you can see NenaMark1 results for Nozomi:

Sources:
XperiaBlog facebook page
iandroid

If this is coming next year.
I'm damn sure it will get a tougher competitor

Unlikely to happen! SE will always be SE, late as usual and with lesser specs to the competition.

I really hope to see a sd card slot. Would be bad if it won't have one.
With system and apps on it even the 32GB will be low for music, movies, pics etc at least for me.
Got around 8.45GB space left on my 32GB sd card that's in my Arc.

Actually what's SE is missing? Only bigger internal memory. Until now. Apart from that, everything is enough.
Quad core? Why the hell you need quad core on phone? What kind of multitasking will you do on phone that you need 4cores?

Music? You manage to listen how much music in a week? Because I think that you could refresh music on your phone once a week.
Movies? Are you kidding me? How many movies do you have on your phone? Do you need more than 1 movie, which is for "just in case" situation?
People, be real.

I have 4.5GB music on it and I just want to have it with me without refreshing it.
9 movies ^^. 4-5 with 800-900 MB each, as they are in the resolution of Arc and the others are 200-300MB as they are still on 320x240.
And 70 short clips....
I''m just saying it would be better to be able to expand it...

That's little more than 10 GB
I think it would slow down the device to have so large internal memory, AND external memory.

That's not all I have on the sd. Sd has 29.81GB and I use more than 21GB...
But that doesn't belong here...
Device should be able to handle that with that specs.
