are there any hw similar phones to k700i? because i want to replace my current fw in my k700i with something else. r2ca001 is horrible software which don't fully use k700i hardware (absence of JSR-75 and jsr-82, there could be better image viewer and mp3 player)

i don't know why SE won't release hardware documentation to these old phones. i think k700i has sufficient hw to run linux and i think that there are developers which would build it for this phone (or other phones) it's very old phone but for example z520i has worse hw (i think) but much better sw and it began solding in time when k700i was ending. or other example - k750 in my country is about +-130 € cheaper than w810i and main difference between this phones is software.
And sorry for my english.  :)

and if you know about any better fw for k700i give me a link

Replacing the firmware in you k700 with something else? i dont think you actually can do that, unless the firmware is made for the k700. Well just a thought...

Siemens phones where made with a very close resemblance to Sony Ericsson internals ( i believe that SE supplied the arch to siemens or something, anyone with a clearer view on this?), althougt i dont think that the firmware made for siemens phones will do any help...........
