made a post in the private modders forum but thought i'd post it for the public..  

i finally got the balls today to flash my new z710i's firmware to a w710i's.. figure they are basically identical hardware wise (except for the pedometer in the w710i).. so what the hell!

used wotanserver, had a credit left over from fixing my K800i (dang bad EROM!!) and thought i'd see if wotanserver would even let me get as far as flashing.. so hit start, choose the W710i and USA cda.. downloaded files..

and looksy what i got..   a Z710i hybrid.. one of the first sightings.. however, pedometer again does not work so renders the fitness software useless.. however, YOU DO GET FLASH MENUS! so that is a total bonus.. first phone i've seen them in play and they look purty!

yes.. the phone is a quad band phone and gets all of the 850/900/1800/1900 bands..

man. flash menus are sweet!! the lava one shows the song/artist playing on the main desktop, sweet!!!!

Thanks. Sounds nice. I wish someone would hack in flash themes support into the w800s. We have a base to start from as well due to the early flash enabled f/w

Is there a way to do it with Hendrix way ? With zeus and not with far tool so we can return back to z710 if service needed?
Any information would be very helpful cause the w710i hybrid really rocks !!!
