Hi all.
Now it's time to know more about k790\800 platform.
We don't have a free way to view filesystem of db2020 phones, but we can discover files in ssw images to know more about new platform.

Step by step tutorial:
1. We need ssw filesystem image. for example R1EG001_C_ASIA_FS.ssw
2. Convert the ssw to raw:

main2raw.exe R1EG001_C_ASIA_FS.ssw

You will found R1EG001_C_ASIA_FS.raw in current folder
3. Ectract files and save them:

SEFStool4.exe R1EG001_C_ASIA_FS.raw

Enjoy

Tested on:
z530, z550, z710, k610, k790/800, k810, w300, w550, w600, w660, w810, w850, w880, w900

Where do we get .ssw images from any ways?

Either the K610i is unsupported or the tool cannot read .wtf files (WotanServer), because I get this when running it on K610_CXC1250376_EUROPE_4_R1ED001_RED49.wtf

You should take not crypted ssw files from topsony.com for example.
Not sure about k610 anyway.
Tool works with FAT version 26 only.

Now if only we could save these back to .ssw files and run them in Wotan with customize.xml already in them
edit: I just realised there's no point in doing this as we cannot get out hands on the customization files any ways unless Wotan or someone hands them over right?

Yes, but the problem is that no tool can flash "patched" files into db2020 phones

When you flash your phone, you flash a filesystem-flash, containing all the files on the phone. This program extracts the files to your computer.

Hi guys can anybody help please?
I just used main2raw, it worked fine, but after it i tried using SEFStool4 but it didn´t really start, when i pulled the raw file onto the SEFStool4.exe, it opened, but after a second or less it closed and nothing new e.g. a folder or something, has been created
whats wrong?

hmm, SEFStool4 works only with FS flash files, not with Main files, maybe that's the problem?

but i used the progs, as i was supposed to do, i got the "K800_R1ED001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED49.raw" after using main2raw, what shall I do now?

hmmm, I've extracted that file without problems.

SEFStool4.exe K800_R1ED001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED49.raw

should work :/
