how about you start think and do a little search for yourself?
goggle for virtual box and see for yourself? is that so hard?

and about ubuntu, how can that be hard for you? it's the most friendly UI for people who use windows

Try downloading it via torrent. It will take a while, but be patient.

Or better, try XS++ 3.1 (Darwin) for windows. And if you want to mod it, then try FAR+JDflasher.

XS++ 3.1 can read phone lock code?
EDIT: it can, in tab GDFS, but yes, not for CID53.

XS++ 3.1 does not work on CID53. Why do you think he wants ubuntu to run 4.1 which does work on CID53?!

No, Ubuntu is NOT most user-friendly for Post-Windows users. Kubuntu is most friendly!

In almost all Linux Distrivutions it is done almost instantly. No need for user inetrference if you are not doing any custom VPN / Proxy or WiFi connections ...

Yes, you can download irt for WIndows ( XS++.exe ) , install WIne in Ubuntu, and launch XS++.exe just like WIndows app from Ubuntu. ;)
