I have a W880i with me and currently using it. I have a great problem that this phone doesn't support Chinese language. All my Chinese language messages are weird symbol. I would like to trying to do flashing by myself, to have Chinese/English language and Chinese/English input on it. I have absolutely zero knowledge on these and i would like to have some guiding on it.

I have search through the internet to learn the flashing thingy but ended up confusing because each guides are giving different method and i don't know which to follow. All the guides are also not based on W880i example, but with other model. I seriously do not want to spoil my phone by blind flashing it.

I need some help.

How is that going to help? He wants chinese input so needs a china main.

I have some questions also. For my case, do i need to flash all the 3files that you linked me ? Are they all "supported" by each others and will not crash the phone ?

Using JDFlasher !
Oflash/Flashing for Firmware/Debranding/flashing vkp etc.

   1. Start JDflasher.
   2. Connect phone to JdFlasher as said above.
   3. Enter oflash mode.
   4. On right side navigate to firmware location on computer.
   5. Select firmware in the right side.
   6. Press F5.
   7. Click Copy.
   8. Then Ensure that the option flash as babe image is selected. (babe for firmwares, mbn, fbn)
   9. Click “Yeah Flash it”.
  10. Wait for flashing of all blocks to complete.

You can flash main/fs using jdflasher. To debrand the phone flash both the main and fs. Also remember after flashing FS you need to add the CDA. Download CDA and copy them to tpa/preset/custom using ofs. If you forget to add the cda files to phone fs using ofs then you will end up getting a Configuration Error.

There are 4 option which can be choose. I should use Oflash right for the main and fs right ? How about the custom file ? Is it same method as previous one but only we need to put in the right location in our phone ?

Its pretty much the same. Flash main & FS using DB2020 script and OFLASH. Once completed use DB2020 script and OFS to upload custom files to tpa/preset/custom.

Make sure you backup your contacts/messages etc beforehand.

I encounter some problem..first i open up Farmanager..press ALt+F1..select 0 which is Jus the flasher..then i select DB2020,DCU-60 and the maximum spd..then it will show a bar like loading..i connect my phone and pressing 2+5 at the same time..and it detects my phone. Then i can either select Oflash and Ofs on the left hand side..once i select oflash a error msg came out "SetDirectory(serdir(setmode(doscript(1dr(gh1dr(getloader(070703 1229 DB2020_SEMC_RECOVERY_P3N.2020_1_BLUE)))))))"

AM I DONE SOMETING WRONG ?

ok seems like i installed the plugin with a wrong way just now. Now im successfully select Oflash then i browse to my main and fs file..and press F5..select copy..then ?
i cant find any FLash button for me to select.
