Google are starting a very interesting project called App Inventor.
Essentially this is a GUI for building your own Android applications and games. If this is done right it could be spectacular!

This reminds me of an application called Scratch used to create games programs etc.

Well obviously you don't HAVE to make an app that makes a noise like a cat!
The point is that if you want to build an app but have no idea how to write one, this is a GUI to makes things a whole lot easier.

I tried making an app for it and it was super easy. It's a very nice idea of Google to make this. But I think it would be better if it could be a program. Not a website + Java application.

There is also HelloPurr but people still make it to learn how to use App Inventor
