OK i asked for help abt this issue on esato forums and thanks to some 'wise' MOD he transfered the thread to a garbage section. I really need help here, I want to permanently KILL my K750, Anybody knows how to do this with DaVinci Flahsher/ FAR? ... i know i could just drown my set OR drop it on teh floor but i need to make it look like a fone hardware failure. So If anybody knows anyway how to do this i.e. make the fone totally irrepairable so that it would n't be recoverable with any sorta softwares after that .. plz lemme know

Get a transformator (these ones where you can set the voltage from 1.5v to 12v in several positions). then connect that thing to your SIMcard-reader (those 8 pins under the battery where your SIMcard normally goes). Try some low voltages on some pins, then go to higher voltages. Watch out that do dont actually burn anything (too high voltage), but just damage the thing. And check for failure before changing to higher voltage. That's how I would do it...

But, again, why would anyone want to ruin his phone? Sell it on ebay! "Unbranded, unlocked K750 converted to W800."

Hendrix, isn't their some easier way like doing that through FAR, someone said i should write the GDFS to the wrong memory location, but i guess thats recoverable.

Most of you think i didn't think of the eBAY part :) ..well i did ..but i cant actually sell the phone ..i'll just have to show that ITS useless now and to do that i'll have to permanently innocently kill it without leaving any signs of a 'murder-scenario'.

Anything that you flash to the phone can be replaced with working stuff... I mean they actually produce phones: In factory everything is filled with zeros - that's what I would call a really messed up GDFS ;) So they fill it with cool contents and sell the phones.

Any SE shop will simply reflash the phone with a service cable.

Just get dressed like an Arab and go to Us embassy. They use a scanning machine that so far have killed unrepairably 2 phones to my knowledge....

But a more eligigle suggestion would be to give it more amps than suggested on even alternative current on the battery pinouts. The AC will pass any security capacitor they might have and fry the closed chip thus giving you a dead board....

This is so funny, I have read a hundred forum threads in the past saying "help, i need to recover a bad flash" etc.... for many differenct devices (psp's, nds's, modchips, phones.... basically anything and everything some techno boffin has changed the firmware on)

but NEVER seen one asking how to brick a phone, LMFAO, hand this guy a free phone just for trying!!!!

As for helping out, i wud say the voltage adapter thing is best, cos the manufacturer can just reflash it, they might say "did u use non official adapter?" u just say no!

that is not true. i changed the area of my gdfs . phone died.. i sent it to a repair centre they reflash using a box thing.. not a service cable.. then they go and tell me i have something wrong with the chip inside my phone lol they think its a hardware problem. so not all se shops will reflash with a service cable.

anyway i got a new k750i with warranty this time lol so am selling the other one on ebay. it is repairable but SE is too dumb to consider the gdfs values.
