Those of you who have managed to get CreaTouch for free via PlayNow, have you tried backing up the .apk file to your SD card?
If this is possible then we should be able to share the (free) app with those of us who don't have access to PlayNow apps in our country

Can't have been that popular an app then Mik, judging by the overwhelming response you have received!!!

I have it now on the X10 Mini and it's...ok.

In fairness you can very easily create yourself some backgrounds with preset items and handy dispersal mechanics. I'm just not creative enough to want to keep using it ;)

Just Updated My Mini Pro to 2.1 and notice Creatouch had vanished :( sad faced because my kids loved playing with that and made some superb abstract images for my background!

Also my O2UK Branded (not that I have seen much branding) does not have PlayNow either :(

Found it (applications, other, free) and its called Creatouch Mini
Im downloading it now so if anyone knows where it stores the APK then I will try to upload it

Pre-installed apps are in /system/app
User installed apps are in /data/app
Some protected apps may be in /data/app-private

I can't quite understand why the Mini & Mini Pro have PlayNow apps but the X10i still doesn't.

I've recently updated an X10i and it has CreaTouch in its apps menu..played with it for a bit so I'm sure it is there. Update was for Vodafone Romania.

It seems to be location dependent in conjunction with the availability of apps on PlayNow

you found the APK for it yet? Debranding my Mini Pro still made no difference :(
