Seen this link and a lot of users on macforums users are using it to install the latest available 4.0 Beta to their iPhones/iPods.
As a some users here use iPhones/iPods thought i would share.
Have a read around first there are some issues with the beta
both myself or SE-NSE are not responsible if you try it and it all goes horribly wrong

Cool, I think my iPod might die if i try and install it, it struggles with 3.0
