cid36 or cid 49?

hai?i have problem with my w800i... i can't identify the cid36/49? coz if i detect with xs++ its cid36 but if i using SE TOOL is detect cid49.. firmware series R1L002 please help me...

Your W800 is CID36, like all W800 out there.

SETool lists 49 as your CID because it has no support for CID36.

Then why why did SE make CID49 firmware for w800 if they are all CID36? ;)

They didn't. Use Gslide to replace header for cid49 phones.

Download gslide and check yourself. That is how cid49 fw "came out."

I would have died stupid and didn't know that. But the thing is that I bought along time ago a k750i which had a cid 36 firmware and it was cid 36.

dear friend! setool has stopped supporting cid36 and below, hence recognizing them as obsolete. to be honest, if you don't have to upgrade to cid 49, then don't because, upgrading to cid 49 using setool is fairly complicated and if you do one tiny detail wrong you're phone dies and you need to do recovery and.....!!  quite frankly it's not worth it because practically they are both the same.
