Ok..so I would look quite noobish by saying this but I never used elfs for any of my phones until now...only patches. I looked around the forum but the topics have to many pages and I lack the patience to search as I didn't have any interest in that part of the forum...and its quite difficult to manage. I just want a link to how to upload elfs and make them work and if there are any elfs for w800 r1bc002 cid 49 red..where can I find them? Just guide lines as I don't want to stress anyone.

Thanks! :newhere:

Elves are not fw dependant but some are platform dependant.

They may cause the odd restart now and then.

Get your elfpack and dyn from here: http://justdanpo.che...nQvZWxmcGFjaw==

The topic where the elf is posted should say if its for a specific platform or not.

I got the idea on where to put what...what firmware..and the .vkp files to be patched...but which are the elves themselves? how does an elf look like? I browsed almost the entire links from the tutorial section but still don't have a clue how a elf file looks like..I only bumped in DYN_CONST.bin and others like it...no elves...or am I missing something? :newhere:

Be advised that if you are using SYSGFX patch that *.mem.vkp patch in that elfpack is pointless patching into that phone. Well, this certainly is the case for my w810 as the lines that are commented make that patch "empty" according to FAR and JDFlasher

Thanks...that will help me figure it out on what's inside the folders. Will you upload them on a file sharing site? or how?

Heres your first elf to get you started: http://forums.se-nse...attach_id=40558

You just need to put that one in the zbin directory in your phone

I don't think I will use any sysgfx patches...not now at least...I still have to learn about this stuff first.

Edit: thanks cchaos..now it starts to become clear...shouldn't files named elfpacks contain elves? I have downloaded a few and they all have DYN_CONST.bin and the vkp patches in them.
