Sony Ericsson has been taking to the stage at MWC in Barcelona this evening to announce a bevy (yes that is a word) of new products. First up is Kanna or as it will now be known: Vivaz Pro. Essentially it's the same as Vivaz itself albeit with the addition of a slide out QWERTY keyboard, hence the 'pro' part. Release is, tentatively, scheduled for Q2. Check out the press release photos below.

This is probably a sensible release but for me it's one to steer well clear of due to the S60.
I think this will be more successful than WM based qwerty slider devices though.

I've just been speaking with MR who's down in Barcelona. He was very impressed by all the devices, including the Vivaz sisters. He said performance wise they're comparable to Satio.
Bessie Braddock: Winston you are drunk. Churchill: Yes, but in the morning I shall be sober, and you will still be ugly.

Hmmm, well there has been a mistake somewhere but I think it's more likely to be in that image, especially if they used the standard Vivaz one as a template when making it.
My guess for why the camera may be of lower spec would be due to there being less internal space because of the slide out qwerty.
