I want to update Presario 2200 Laptop's BIOS.

Can someone guide me how to do it safely and what tools i'd require? :)

Firstly, i want to know if update is available or not.

Secondly, if update is there, what are the fixes. :confused:

But i can't find exact tutorial or tool to update. So i need help. ;)

If you're not encountering errors, I would stay away from flashing it ;). Besides, wouldn't updates be distributed via Windows Update?

Yea, i know that , if no problem encountered i should be away from Flashing. ;)

And No, Windows update don't do BIOS update, those are to be done manually only.

Still want to try, any suggestion how to proceed? :)

Also it need not be just done when having problems, it could also help improve performance... :p

Go too HP website and download the biosupdate !

Run it and have the charger in

DON'T RUN ANY OTHER APPs then this one

Restart and it's updated
