Hi,

My c902 has frozen on the SE welcome screen when you put the phone on.

Was working fine one night, next morning this happens.

The only way to then switch it off is to remove the battery.

If the phone is broke then so be it i guess, but is there any way to retrieve my notes and calendar entries from the phone???

Really could do with getting the info off there as it was semi important and useful to me.

A reflash should fix it but if it won't turn on I can't see how you can recover your notes etc.

thats what i was thinking, flash, but that means everything that is gone and no recovery of info notes and or numbers i guess

If you don't like the branding, flash with generic FW then

lol, fair enough, i am still learning, and there is loadssssssssssss to learn!!!

i want the c902 in english (uk) and debranded ideally. at the mo. i have flashed it onto 02.


i am struggling to understand how to pick the fbn, mbn, and custom packs as there is soooooooooooo much choice and sooooooooooo many places to find them.

any advice on that is appreciated,

Have a look to see when it was made. I think if its 09w16 or later then its AS. Check under the battery.

The differences between the two are internal hardware.

under the batery ihave a 08W49

and the s/n contains an A0

so i guess its an A0

so i originally used - C902_R3DA028_MAIN_GENERIC_AO_RED52.mbn

but i will try the one you just linked me to now i.e. - C902_R3EF001_MAIN_GENERIC_AO_RED52.mbn

can i still use the original fbn file i used, i.e. - C902_R3DA028_FS_WESTERN-EUROPE_RED52.fbn

and would this following custom pack make the c902 unbranded again - Sofia_i_CDF1201-0077_3_R7A_GENERIC_WESTERN-EUROPE

You may be able to use R3DA FS with R3EF main, it works on other models and that custom is fine.

These files...
- C902_R3EF001_MAIN_GENERIC_AO_RED52.mbn
- C902_R3DA028_FS_WESTERN-EUROPE_RED52.fbn
- Sofia_i_CDF1201-0077_3_R7A_GENERIC_WESTERN-EUROPE

Finding the right files is not so hard. Custom must match FS, here being GENERIC. CID must match CID of phone. FW Version normally should be the same for main and FS but not always.

You can use your FS, along with the custom pack.

The "rules" of flashing are pretty much explained here http://forums.se-nse...showtopic=29591 but as c902 has two sets of different hardware, thats why you have to look for the when it was made.

Hallo from Greece. I try to modify my c902 i have done it again with another SE phone but know i have a problem. When i connect my c902 with A2uplaoder my PC freezes and i must reset it to work again. It also freezes when i connect my phone while it is closed with the pc. Plz help

What OS and service pack?

Indeed. Typical XP SP3 problem. Try reinstalling the drivers under safemode, then install again in normal mode.

I have installed the drivers in safe mode and then in normal again. But the same problem again. My pc freezes when i connect my c902 and try to use the a2uplader Plz help..
