Greetings

As all attempts to port the Walkman player 3 have failed, mainly due to lack of modders as well as the inavailability of a port of the ROM patcher, I have now focussed my efforts to try and get the W960 visualizations to work on the G900/G700. It'll help in keeping the interest alive

Okay......here's what i'm looking at....Since the visualization (volcano.xml) in the G900/G700 is located in Z:/Shared/Kastor and the visualizations ( breeze, underwater, fizz (xml files)) etc in the W960 player are located in Z:/shared/Kastor, is it possible to add these to the G900
c:/shared/ Kastor folder so that we can have some visualizations in the G series handsets too..instead of only 1?

I have seen people using swmail's walkman player 3 mod. In that mod, one has to create a c:/shared/ kastor and add visualizations in that folder. Can we do the same on the G900/G700 too?

I dont have my G700 with me nowadays....but if someone is willing to try, here are the W960 visualizations. Copy them to c:/shared/Kastor ( you have to create the folder)

( IMP: Since the G900/G700 has only ONE visualization, i recommend you first add only ONE W960 visualization in that folder and try it)

Afaik...it doesn't brick your phone....worst case scenario...your media center wont work., then all you have to do is remove the files you copied from the c:/ and reboot.

First move all player files to C, then add new visualizations.

This might be a stupid question but is there any way possible to get these kind of visualizations to work on A2v2 phones?

Try streching visualization windows to fullscreen.

The visualisations are already full screen on the G series handsets. Should I copy the W960 visualisation kastor folder only? hope it doesnt crash my phone
