hey people...
i recently got a broken w810, removed the faulty parts from it,and installed working ones i already had.
so,i started by flashing R4EA031 firmware on it...
(the main only is R4EA031)
it works fine,i have done some simple fs mods and hacks, and now i wanna get deeper,by patching.
i wanna clarify that im not a newbie in all this stuff, have been flashing and modding and patching for about 2 years....
but this w810 seems to be problematic.
the problem is,whenever i install a patch using setool2lite,with the classic method, the phone cant be turned on,and i gotta reflash the generic main in order to make it working again.
i tried different methods of patching like using gSlide to patch the main and then flash it,but it didnt work, the phone wouldnt turn on...
the only thing i have managed to do,is installing the blue battery using gSlide, but after i flash the patched main and turn the phone on,i notice problems such as:
when i try to unlock the keyboard, the screen goes black and white for some minutes, then it gets unlocked...
also,phone gets stuck many times...

my question is,what could the problem be?
i have installed correct patches to matching firmware, and the problem is always there...
phone will only work properly with unpatched main...
WTF?
waiting for ur answers, thanks in advance.

okay,thank him too ^^

um,sorry if this is off-topic or if its already existing, but i didnt find it...
i have seen some screenshots taken on W810 phones,which have 3 softkeys - choices....like a2 phones...
for example, the normal for w810 has 2 softkeys, one to the right and one to the left, but a2's have 3,right,middle,left

and what i saw was
Posted Image

so how do they make the middle softkey appear?
i want this badly :p

If thats happening after you have patched your phone (assuming that you havent taken out the memory card or SIM) then thats normal.

Youre best off taking out the memory card and the SIM: if something goes wrong, at least then theres no chance of something going wrong with them too

well,it happens when memstick is out too...yes,it started after patching the phone...
i get to the standby and after some seconds it gets stuck...but if i try again sometimes it turns on and works smoothly.
