I was hunting around the net on a Sunday Night/Monday Morning as you do and came across this little application.

Torch is a java app. for the k800/k790 and works by activating the red/orange led next to the flash.

Be sure to change the permission for the app. to "Multimedia" = No, or you will get a question about access to the camera every time you start Torch.

(highlight Torch in Applications > press More > select Permissions > select Multimedia > select No)

This feature is missing from the K800i/K790i (the K750i & the W series has) and is a must need for people whom come home drunk on a Friday and Saturday night and you need to find the keyhole for your key to the house.

But most of the people I meet who are drunk can't even find their house let alone the key or the hole!!!!! :p

Download Application Here

Nice app, I use my LED's as a torch all the time and it would be a shame to lose that ability on the K800

http://torchk800.matlista.se
http://torch.advanta.se

Just send to your phone, put it in the "other" and then browse for it, you'll get the option of installing it.
(Remeber to press no the first time you start it when it asks for permissions) :good:

I don't think a flash tube is really capable of emitting permanent light. I might be wrong but I think they would blow quite quickly
