W580i Problem Transferring Files To Phone discovery problem with Phone Mode Rate Topic: -----

My phone was being seen fine by the SEPCS (Sony Ericsson PC Suite) before, and I could transfer files fine, but now whenever I put my phone in Phone Mode, and connect it to my computer, it briefly recognizes the phone and then says it is not connected. It cycles through this process for as long as I have the SEPCS open in a window, but says the phone is connected at long as I do not (It stays in the tray the entire time this is happening).
This didn't use to happen, and I don't know what to do. If I put the phone in File Transfer Mode, I can transfer files to it like I do my thumb drives, but the phone doesn't recognize those files.
A friend sent me an audiobook and I am very frustrated. Can someone please help?
