Is there any known setting(s)/mod(s) to get the UMTS/HSDPA connection shared trough WIFI on the A200 WIFI enabled phones ?

Would be very nice th have the connection shared via WIFI to get rid of the bandwidth limit of the BT connection.

(This can be done on WM devices trough a bit of tweak or via the commercial app WM-wifirouter, on the s60 mobiles this can be done also via a commercial app.)

This can't be done over Wifi (you can't turn your phone into a Wifi access point like a mifi box), but it can be done with the USB cable.

I think that sounds a bit too definitive.

Nothing is impossible.

Someone has realized a a web browser for the commodore 64, some other has installed MAME on some cameras...

I think that swapping the routing from the BT to the WIFI interface is a relatively easy job. Just a bit of knowledge of low level a200 thinks is needed. Unluckily I don't have this kind of skill.

But still you will have to make patch to make that work. And A2 patching is lame.
