Yes, just remove the folder, it's not important for your phones system.

thanks for the reply jock :)

just one last question... though I've read this thread.... still I wanna be sure

I just open the program....... type in path name ... (I want to save ic file)

as - tpa/preset/system/icons/hb1_08_qvga_semc_icon_graphics.ic

and save as bin file...right?

what should I name the bin file as?

and ... lastly.... in program settings ... where to save (USB,Card,or tpa/user/other)

Thanks a bunch

It's not possible.

New version available

Use "Save as..." to save to XML at once and use Far Manager etc.

Jock, maybe change the thread title/app name as it's not solely used for DB3210 CID53? :)

A handy update :good:

Well i just open the source to add XML writing so didn't bother much more :p Perhaps doing a better update later on and removing zipping as A2Uploader is quite out of date :)

This is my solution for CID53 file extracting, all you need is .NET Framework 2.0 + and A2 Uploader, What you need to do is,

1. Start DB3210 CID53 File Xtractor and generate your .bin file, You’ll get use of shortcuts mode.

2. Start A2 Uploader and in the misc box load your .bin file and press Flash (Very important that you use Flash and not Write script)

3. Connect phone with C and wait

4. Start phone let the “Please wait” Screen dissapear, now browse to FileManager > codeclaw > and browse to your file and send to pc.

That’s it, easy right?

Changelog:
#version 1.0
+ Initial Release

#Version 2.0
+ Open bin files
+ Edit items
+ Change path to either (phone, card or phone/other)
+ More shortcuts
+ New menu
+ About window
+ Settings window
+ Add comments in your shortcut (//Made by me)
+ Show messagebox (#my text message)
+ Preview xml before compression

#Version 3.0
+ Some stuff i don't remember
+ Save to xml in app, no need to unzip (use Save as menu)

Download

When am trying to download it shows error..

It's compatible with DB3350 if you export as xml and upload to /TPA/Preset/Custom

Use "Save as" option in the file menu after you've selected the files you want to export. (Boot folder is read protected so you can't use this method for cxc files).
