You can rename bin to zip and extract the customize_upgrade.xml inside it. Then you can use far+sefp2 to upload it to phone. :)

Thank you so much for this program!

Is there any way (not that it is needed) to remove the shortcut from the file manager?

If you mean on those sony ericsson links.
Go to tpa\preset\custom and delete itm files you don't want.
Then go to tpa\preset\system\custmenu and delete same(named) folders, also delete cust_menu_data.dat and cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat, if they are there.
But this has nothing to do with this program.
Use FAR(manager)+SEFP2(plugin)

This is 10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure, 50% pain.
And a 100% reason to remember the name!

Thanks for the reply!

I suppose this can be done with A2uploader too, is that right?

But i followed ur way bro....it worked...how?..by your method any file can b copied unless it has some extension....ex: your source="tpa/preset/system/icons/sunny_susan_semc_icon_graphics_main_0.ic" here .ic was an extension for ur file, but what i was trying is i was copying the whole folder of fonts directory...which will not work, and then what i did is <file-op parse-mask="fa" op="copy" source="tpa/preset/system/fonts/fontengine.xml"
dest="tpa/user/other/fonts/fontengine.xml" />...........and it worked flawless bro....thank u boysie

Yes, that method only works for individual files not entire folders as far as I know.

Yes. All the program does is generate a customize upgrade file inside a bin file which is flashed with A2uploader or (in your case) which you rename to zip, extract and put to config folder with SEFP2. The phone does the actual copying.

In Step 4, I got some problem...
How can I start the phone with the A2 Uploader is already connected?
I try to press the power on button
but it doesn't work

I am using W995 with
CDA 1215-7993
R1GA026
DB3210
CID 53

anyone can help please?

I have a similar problem with step 4.
I think I'm supposed to startup the phone normally, then go through: Menu--Organiser--File Manager--codeclaw--tpa--preset--system--lighteffects--systemeffects...
then copy files to pc.  But I only have an option to play on my screen, which does nothing.
Obviously I've missed something, help anyone??

Thanks in advance
Dave

Hey friends,

Just one question... I guess this application after flashing the bin file creates some folders in the phone memory or card (named codeclaw or something) where the system files are saved.

My question is, once I'm done getting my system files .....(they've been copied safely to hard drive)...can I delete this Codeclaw folder and all the xtra stuff that it generates?

Many thanks.

Yes, just remove the folder, it's not important for your phones system.
