(Talking about a W595 here)
I was just wondering if there was possible to remove/ delete the splash screen/ startup screen that comes before you writs the PIN code?

I would like to have the phone start up faster, by removing the splash screen that i think actually is just dumb.


So, is there possible?/ how? I have tried but it wont be deleted from the phone.


If its not possible, can anyone link be a cooler one? That kid that just makes the one that turns it on like "WOW"?


BUT I will FIRST get answerar on the FIRST question, i know there is other splash screens out there.

Yes you can delete the splash screen and no it won't make the phone boot quicker. Why can't you delete it btw?

THe a2uploader does not make it. I tried the method that we use on "protected" tunes from sony ericsson, name a TXT file the same, but it did not work on the splash.

But, splash works like welcome screen`? I guess the phone boots, when finish booting the splash is shown, and the i can take the pin, like wlcome screen, tast pin and wlcome screen and phone. It works withou welcome screen, so..

Have you tried creating an empty gif file then remove the extension and copy to phone?

I mean that the spash screen is just a image that is shown, not a stage of the booting. If i remove it, the time that is used to show it will be removed too, and the startup time will be faster.?

Is it like that? Or.. Is the splash screen kind of a booting screen like on the windows xp ex?

Its just an image. Mine takes the same time to boot without the splash as it does with the splash.
