Hi there. I was reading about a neat little trick to forward email to your phone via SMS, using a "SMS gateway" email address. This is basically a set email address with your phone number in it, which when emailed, sends a text to your phone. And its free. But I haven't been able to find a working one for o2. A few unworking ones, but no working one. Anyone know the working address for an o2 UK phone?

call them up and set it up. I used to have it using t-mobile uk. it was rubbish though, you couldn't get much out of the emails that came through. very limited. but cool. :)

From my understanding I shouldnt have to. It should just be a case of send an email to "{number}@{address}.co.uk" and it'll arrive on phone as a text message.

If you get free internet on your phone try gawab.com or gmail, you can set both up to send/receive email from the phones own email client (main menu/messaging/email), gmail also supports push email, so it sends the email straight to your phone as soon as it gets to your inbox, you can use it like sms although it is a little slower then sms lol.

A2 phones should also have the auto setup feature to, you only need to enter your email/password and the phone will do the rest of the setup =)
