Hey guys, How can I use .swf file without putting and using .thm file also on my SE phone?

coz there are some downloadable file on the flash themes thread that don't have a .thm file on it.

How can i use those kinds of flash menu?

I already installed and used Precision which there is a .swf and .thm file.

But when I try to use only .swf file and used a standard (not downloaded) .thm file, the .swf doesn't shows effect.

How can I install and use only my choice .swf only? :)

you need to extract the theme, edit a file and then make it back into a theme.

get TUGZip, install it, rename theme to {theme name}.tar, extract with TUGZip (NOT ANYTHING ELSE, other programs corrupt it), open the .xml file, add the right line (can't remember it right now, someone else may be able to before I come back and update), then compress all the files into a .tar again and rename to .thm. Then put it on your phone and flash the flash menu to the correct location (you must know how to do this having already done it), then enable the theme.

EDIT: OK, just found an easier way: Download and install this: http://sendspace.com/file/rgwzy2, then just right-click the thm file and click Send to > SET Flash Menu and then notepad will open. The fourth line will say <Desktop_style Type="File" Source="ChangeMe.swf"/>. Change ChnageMe.swf to the name of the swf file. The save and close notepad. Now upload the theme to your phone and flash the fash menu to the right location, which i presume you know how to do as you have done so already.

Download SET FlashMenu and install it. Then right-click on a .thm file you want to match with .swf file and choose Send to -> SET FlashMenu. A .thm file will open in notepad. Find the line:

<Desktop_style Type="File" Source="ChangeMe.swf"/>

It's almost on a top. Change "ChangeMe" into name of .swf menu. E.g.:

<Desktop_style Type="File" Source="Grouped.swf"/>
