I think you don't need to change that anywhere only, do a backup of ur language file, do that SEUS process and then upload the language..

yeah but if you just upload the language then you won't be able to apply the language to the phone cause you won't find it and choose it. I just need to test it.. (maybe tomorrow)

I'm not following your daught, let me explain:
The same thing happen to me every time i flash my phone, my Portuguese Language File goes missing, so i have to upload my pt.t9 and pt.lng files to the \tpa\preset\system\language\ directory and when i turn on my phone it auto-selects my phone language because it detects my lang from my sim card, why the same don't happen to you?

I recommend this since it's faster than R1DA035 and gives you an updated Google Maps app.

it's easy to add the languages you want.. just a matter of getting the .lng and .t9 files and putting them in the customize or customize_upgrade.

thanks for the files man i have the language files, and i think i drop them in tpa/preset/system/language. And i think i'll just change the line in customize like i mentioned above. it isn't that difficult i suppose

now for the files, since they are .software, i upload them too with A2 Uploader or with something else? (or with setool2?)

sorry for double posting but i have some difficulties enabling the greek language to the phone anyone knows how to enable it? i succesfully flashed the phone, i can write with greek but i cant enable the language :/

From my W715 default backup here is the language paste (dont know if it has the greek language but it has the fr.lng and fr.t9 files)

Can we do the same for deleting navigation panel right and up keys which are linked to vodofone live.I tried to edit with my c905.
1.tpa\preset\custom\....deleted menu_hook_12.itm
2.system\preset\custmenu......deleted files inside menu_hook_12
3.open customize.xml and edited the following

You need to create a customize_upgrade.xml or else if you use Customize.xml use a sys restore to get effect

Thank you very much! Today i debranded my w715 with cda change to baltic and seus but my backed up greek language file wont appear on the phone.. I have added it to allowed_languages.txt and customize.xml ,did a master reset(only settings) and only english appears(i only left english ang greek on the phone,deleted all the others). I would appreciate any help. Thank you again for learning me to hack a se phone within an hour,great forum!

Yes i copied el.lng and el.t9 to tpa\preset\system\language . I can write in greek and english in messages but doesnt appear in the phone language settings.

I got the same problem after updating to R1FA035. It seems that the phone "knows" which FW version the language files belong to and doesn't accept them if they differ too much.

I used the german Vodafone language files from FW R1EA030 on my NORDIC R1EA033 W715 and they worked fine. Putting them onto my NORDIC R1FA035 W715 I got no change of choosing the language.

yep, because the language files from R1EAxxx probably won't be compatible with R1FAxxx .. so if you can find an R1FA filesystem for another similar model (C905, W705, G705) then the language files from there will work.

where did you get R1FA035 from?
