Hi
I have a SE w980 from orange the problem is that the FM transmitter was disabled due to legal restriction. so I flashing it using a French firmware (main, fs and the customization pack) cause this country don’t have this restriction but I steal have the problem.
Any solution please

Have you tried downloading some of the generic main and fs files? these should not be resticted at all...try this link and create an account: HERE

but no change i think that is a hardware problem because the radio doesn’t work if the head set is not connected to the phone so there is not a built-in antenna and I think that is only one antenna for radio and the FM transmitter!!!
That is just a supposition waiting for replays

Generally the phone shouldn't have such restrictions because the FM transmitter broadcasts on a short range(few meters), I never heard of such restrictions....If you think that's because in your country there is a legal restriction regarding this sort of thing...maybe the phones that come there are hardware modified so that they can't transmit whatever firmware they have. Try taking it to a service center..maybe the guys from there can unlock the restriction (it might be similar as a network restriction, meaning that you have to fully unlock the phone..not just debrand it)
